This independent redesign uses Davey’s existing website as a factual starting point, retaining its menu information and original photography while rebuilding the visual experience from the ground up. Davey’s has not commissioned or endorsed this concept.
The thinking behind it
Warm yellow, expressive typography, and original 3D illustrations create a distinctive first impression. The supporting pages stay practical: find a sandwich, explore coffee, learn about the shop, and understand catering before visiting the existing ordering site.
Features with a purpose
Custom bread, seeds, egg, turkey bacon, cheese, and avocado form an original illustrated sandwich. It rotates automatically, with pause/resume and an expanding layer view.
Creates a memorable introduction while letting visitors choose how much motion they see.
The reference menu’s 80 items and 11 categories are organized with search, category filters, and clear reset and empty states.
Helps customers find relevant food and drinks without scanning the whole menu.
Existing food and shop photography are paired with the business story, location, rewards, merchandise, and catering information.
Keeps the business recognizable while giving new visitors useful context for a visit.
Ordering and inquiries link to Davey’s existing official website. The concept adds mobile layouts, reduced-motion support, and a photo fallback for 3D.
